Tin Catalyst for Polyurethane Foam Production

AVA SO is a high-performance tin catalyst designed to produce flexible slab stock polyurethane foam formulations and hot cure moulded polyurethane foams. widely used in flexible urethane applications. It is a clear, colourless to light yellow liquid with low viscosity and excellent solubility in polyether polyols and most organic solvents.

Applications:

  • Recommended for use in water-blown, CO₂-blown, or alternative blowing agents.
  • Suitable for TDI or TDI/MDI slabstock foams and hot cure moulded foam systems
  • Can be dosed separately or premixed with polyols (e.g., 1:10 ratio) for improved dosing accuracy
Recommended Use:
Slabstock Ether Foams0.17 – 0.32 parts per 100 parts polyol
Hot Cure Moulded Foams0.10 – 0.25 parts per 100 parts polyol

Storage Recommendations:

  • Shelf life: Minimum 12 months
  • Store in a Dry, cool area in factory-packed containers
  • Optimum storage temperature: 10 °C – 30 °C
  • Keep container tightly closed
